ILF Technologies Develops New High Speed Imprinter |

ROMEOVILLE, IL – March 2005 - ILF Technologies has shipped the first of a new generation of nonstop high-speed imprinters. The unit is designed for nonstop imprint changes at speeds up to 2600 fpm (13.4 mps). The first unit will be installed on a new KBA Compacta Model 818 web offset press (1980mm (78") wide by 1140mm (44.88") circumference). The unit is servo driven and will be installed with a UV curing section.
According to Bruce Niedzwiedz, ILF Sales Manager, the unit has several new features including the simplicity of a single ink train to service both printing couples and a motorized base rail system for lateral positioning across the press width. The new nonstop Imprinter is complimented with an ILF Technologies custom wide "gallery" mounted plow system feeding the large KBA folder package.
