Another New ILF Servo Finishing Line Installation

ROMEOVILLE, IL - January 2009 - ILF Technologies reports another successful all servo Finishing System installation and start up

"The new line equipped with over 30 servo motors has had a great start up" says Bob Allison, ILF President. This was another major line with 16 components including the new M3 Modular Cutter (with changeable size modules) to support two different size press lines. Also included was a pre set system to memorize and store all component job setting information from the bar deck thru the plow stations, allowing a push button set up for stored repeat jobs. The system was driven with ILF’s standard Siemens SIMOTION drive platform and ILF custom software with remote diagnostic capability.

Reports Frank Piper, ILF VP, who supervised the start up "the new servo systems allow absolute control over all functions making a line like this a joy to run. Outstanding tension control, solid repeatability, and stability make this and the other ILF SIMOTION servo lines absolute winners."
