Atariya in Japan expands ILF Servo Finishing System
Romeoville, IL – January 2010 - Atariya Printing in suburban Tokyo increases flexibility with ILF Portable flex gluers and die cutter.
Atariya Printing, one of Japans premier inline finishing companies, has installed three additional ILF components to its existing ILF Servo finishing line.
The additional components include two flex portable gluers and a flex die cutter. The die cutter is equipped with a honeycomb die cylinder and magnetic shells allowing the unit to run various die plate configurations.
The system was supplied with a Siemens Servo Simotion drive platform matching the main line drive and allowing "plug and play" installation.
This is the second installation of an ILF Imprinter at FPG following the success of a 50" wide unit several years ago on a KBA Compacta Model 818 web offset press – 80" wide.
ILF Technologies is a world-leading supplier of web finishing solutions for the printing and converting industries with over 500 installations worldwide.
