Model SBS Batching Variable Sheeters

The ILF/Evtec Model SBS Servo variable batching platform  is designed for variable size cut sheet printing and converting applications where counted and batched stacks of sheets are required. The system is designed for 1200 FPM and 1500 FPM process speeds.  Actual speed will depend on paper specifications, cut, and batch size requirements. The system consists of an infeed/slitter section, pull roll, cutting couple, shingle tape delivery section, batching module, and gear side delivery conveyor.

General Functional Specifications:

  • Standard web widths: 26.5" (673mm), 38" (965mm), and 60" (1524mm)
  • Maximum cut off lengths available for batching are up to 18" (457mm)
  • Standard maximum batch pile heights up to 14" (356mm)
  • Max cuts for optional combination deep pile skid to 28" (711mm) long
  • Pile heights for deep pile delivery to 36" (914mm) from floor with skid
  • Knife loading up  to 250 pounds (3300 sq ft basis)
  • Batch cycle time 12/15 seconds depending on width
